There's no need in buying in game money if you know where it comes from. =p E.g. selling Masters from Poets Palace for 30pp+.

Actually I never got a t6 master once in all the times I ran poets. Maybe I'm just unlucky.

I was forced to resort to farming the MMCC butler for set shoulders, selling them for 15-20p a pop and earning myself the ire of an entire server's worth of casuals. The drawback to that of course is I flooded the market with set shoulders and now most of them sell for maybe 5p at most, with the shaman shoulders going for a measly 50 gold.

Honestly, only time i'd ever do it is when...some retard does something like put Bracelet of Thule on the broker for 20p, yet i only have 7 on me. hmm....might not be a bad investment right quick, for an item perhaps worth over 60p easily. And it felt like a good idea another time cause SOE's 10p for a respec rule is fucking retarded and I wanted to get a respec before raid, and didn't feel like farming my ass off. So what did SWIM do? SWIM made it happen and paid 7 bucks for an asian to give him 10p, easy. Of course nothing is worth anything in this game anymore. Think my biggest spike sale in the last 2 months was 5p.

LoN cards are the new masters!!!

I don't know about where you live but here in Germany you can buy EQ2 classic (i.e. the full original game with 30 days free playtime but without any expansions) for 2 Euro, i.e. around 3 US-Dollars, and it has been like that for a long time now. I would assume if John Doe platfarmer goes there and says he wants to buy 1000 boxes he'd get a big discount. Or he'd probably get it cheaper directly from SOE at those quantities.

yea i hate cheaters and even when there's a exchange server where using RL money is allowd they still rather cheat in a normal server. it's really lame and sadly SoE nor the cheaters care enuff about fair game play to stop doing/allowing it.

Plat farmers buy food and drink from my provisioner.

So i am part of the chain.

They do not bug me. People who put crap on the broker for insane prices are teh problem.

Master spells and adept spells are the issue.

so if i get a valuable master i'm supposed to put it up for a reasonable 10p instead of gouging the price and making 30 plat off it?

fuck your mentality, and fuck you.

the economy is waht it is because people buy plat in the first place .. at this point even if the plat buying is completely abolished it will take months for the game economy to go back to a resonable state.. sooooo untill SoE does handle the cheaters im not going to sell my loot for nothing coz guess waht none is.. my prices are fair but still ways more than they should be.
