Re: Is this a bot program at work or an honest mistake?
What does his Nostromo + cats have to do with him leaving the guild on two alts after his "bot" got booted? He had a function hotkeyed on the Nostromo to leave his guild and type his characters names for his cats to step on too?
Nostromo + cats might explain the stream of 1 spams (even though it was really convenient he was close enough to the correct craft station with supplies ready and his recipes open getting craft xp while afk) but fails to explain the "I was afk at a fair" and two of his toons leaving the guild after his suspected bot toon was guild booted. Until that is explained somehow, I'd say he's a liar, poor excuse maker, got caught, and the guild leaders decided they'd let it slide, at least "this once".
The ball is in his court to explain the disbanding, because unexplained, along with the weak cat excuse, I'm not buying it. Until then, Zaneluke wins for standing by his convictions.

Re: Is this a bot program at work or an honest mistake?
Just to set the record straight though. This isn't a Bot.
Bots are capable of two things. Sending and recieving information, this thing only sends info.
Its no more a bot then creating a long macro. however it is 3rd party software.
mater of fact the only way it can be used to bot is to spaming something like a tradeskill (which he seems to have done). It can't recognize how many mobs their are or what % HP your at.
If you want to get pissed blame EQ2's shitty tradeskill system to, cause its crap. I would go so far to say that it is worse then WoWs. Which WoWs is incredibly more simplistic, but at least it has decent Rewards that rival lower tier Raid gear.

No doubt about it that it's a 3rd party software program. I've seen this same thing every now and then, long string of 1's across /say and the guy being "AFK".

Re: Is this a bot program at work or an honest mistake?
Why argue about whether or not pets walk on keyboards? Obviously, some pets do. Go, go Chewbacca Defense. Don't be distracted by the sideline points and miss the main point.
What he says he did (went afk and went to a fair) and what actually happened (got craft xp while afk, disbanded two characters from the guild after another of his characters was booted... all while afk) don't jive.

Eventually the crafting ends. To start the crafting up again the macro hits enter to click the repeat last recipe button, and then enter again to hit the begin button.
Then it hits a series of 1s at timed intervals.
Crafting ends again, the macro hits enter again to click the repeat last recipe button and then hits enter again to begin crafting a third item.
Then it hits a series of 1s at timed intervals again.
Crafting ends yet again. This time the macro hits enter just once on the repeat last recipe button and loops back to the start of the macro where the enter at the start hits the begin again, and the whole thing repeats.
It is obvious this is what he is doing. Two enters are needed to restart the crafting macro. Two enters will also close of and send a typed message with the second enter opening another. Thus instead of finished products his macro posted 111111111111111111111 to guild chat over and over again.
Somehow his mouse got off the correct location for the buttons. The result is what was seen in the screen shots.

Just like I said back on page 2 but in less detail.
I leave my computer logged into Eq2 to save on load times when I come home. Bullshit. What are you in a hardcore raiding guild waiting for Avatars to pop and kill them w/in 5 minutes? Nope, a hardcore crafting guild
I was at Home Depot buying cat food for my brothers, aunts, pet giraffe. I magically ding'd a trade skill level though. I was logged in though on my iPhone! Honestly I was.
He Macro'd. He got caught.
