Has anyone read/heard of any guidelines from SoE regarding farmer-friendly guilds?

I was recently reporting a few toons on Permafrost and noticed a few of them belonged to the same guild. I appended my petition with a question regarding any guidelines but wanted to touch base with the players to hear of their experiences.

Which guild is it?

Sony's code of conduct states that guilds condoning actions which violate the code, can be held accountable, and if necessary, disbanded permanently. The code of conduct also states that guild leaders and officers can be held accountable for the actions of their members.

A few of the people were in a guild called The Dedicated. This looks (according to EQ2Players) like a mix of legit players with some farmers mixed in.

Another guild I noticed is called Kings of Glory. This looks to be a 100% farmer guild. Looks like someone beat me to the petition-punch though as alot of their members were "Date Last Played" on the same day.

It gets me wondering why people think plat famring is lucrative enough to make it a huge problem. In eq1 everyone did it.

Here there is a ton of excess plat and not enough idiots to buy it hence why they advertise non stop.

Plat for real life $ is worthless and anyone doing it its doing so form a delapadated roach motel in a 3rd world region.

Drop the witch hunt for guilds like this its sony's job.

I agree it is their job but I alone cannot affect whether people buy plat for $. I CAN, however, affect how that plat is obtained and that is by repeated /petition'ing of these locusts I see clearing swaths of zone in a single pass.

I see their joining of established guilds (or creating new ones) nothing but a lame attempt to appear legit.

The behavior of plat pharmers is so obvious you don't even need to look at their guild tags.
