i made this post for 2 reasons-
1. first and foremost, create a discussion.
2. to answer my question. ( i really dont see the big deal, but thats just me)
as far as it being cheating, you're 100% right eula does state 3rd party programs are taboo, and im sure using act is excluded.
I do have a toon that has xmuting, and tbh, i view it as a waste of time( bear with me here)
It cost several 100's of plat to grind that up, and most of the time from what ive experienced first hand, lets say i buy 4 or 5 masters to to xmute, on say tier 1, i blew 60 gold each master, i use the materials and i craft something using the tier 1 materials, the adornment i make is worth what? 60 silver? im losing money.
with that being said, once i max out xmuting on breaking down shit, i then have to craft adorns like a regular crafter. i mean wtf, lose money and put in time like a fucking lunatic crafting?
Is it not tempting to use these programs? aside from being against the eula, i see no harm in using evercraft. it hurts no one. and im sure there are more people who use it that arent speaking up.
Now for those who will call me a botter- i dare you to look my toons on eq2players and call me a botter. ill give names of my alts and you will see all my toons if they even have a crafting profession are all low. Dukkat, Weyoun, Plagious, and Malbogia
im partial to using them and dont see any reason why they shouldnt be used en masse. If i wasnt such a cheapskate, i would buy evercraft, but being i dont believe in paying for anything on the internet, especially pr0n, not going to start on evercraft.
thats my opinion and like the old saying goes, opinions are like assholes, everyone has one.
feel free to state yours-
