Default What kind of farmers are they?

Okay, so before RoK all farmers I really noticed were groups of 3-6, where one person played and the others were botted and on /follow. But now with RoK I have never seen a bot-group again.

Mostly they are solo Wizards now, but the strange thing is that they wear items from instances, such as Chelsith. They are harvesting 24/7, wear some of the best non-raided gear around and are in highend guilds. Now, what kind of farmers are they? And why do good guilds even invite them? Purity and Storm has one each I think.

Do they also run instances and actually enjoy the game? I'm just curious with what intention they play the game. Last time I got invited into a group and I noticed soon that one of the groupmates was one of those farmers. He was able to talk in a very broken English and put like ten spaces after every word. He called need on every shit he could wear and was the first to harvest shinies. But as I noticed later, he was even the groupleader and knew which classes a good group needs etc. Seemed very strange to me. The guy had one of those names which are impossible to pronounce and this is what was in his biography: <some strange symbols which couldn't be displayed> phther (xun luo de) evac

Are those people just chinese people who enjoy the game or are they normal farmers?

They are Leachers.

Some are from gold farmers' guild. There are a lot these guilds.

In Chinese ,ppl do gold Raid. It means, players could pay plat (or USD $) to buy loot rights.
You just pay the money, follow the Chinese farmers' guild , and wait.... Till they kill the BOSS, then they will let you loot the gear ,but not the plat.

We had a plat farmer in our guild for a while, though didnt really know it. We supsected him for a while, but never really showed any obvious signs of being a farmer except being online 24/7 and having broken English. Being a Euro guild, the broken English thing is not uncommon for us.

He would raid (and parse well) and group with us (and if not with us would do every t7 instance once per day), and I never once saw him roll on anything he couldn't use and was actually really fun to play with. He also had a full set of PvP token armour, which wasnt a very 'bot like' thing for a solo Wizard.

Then he got banned *shrug*

They are either 1:

1) Questing for decent loot to get into a good guild. By getting in a decent raiding guild, they receive plat splits etc.
They also join PUGS to get masters and items to sell for coin
All coin is sold for real money. This is the new form of farmer in RoK along with the speed hackers that warp around KC and get shineys.

2) They aren't farmers. They dont speak much english and use the random name generator to create characters. They play the game for fun just like everyone else.

Be warned though, just because an asian player does good Dps or has good gear+knowledge of the game doesnt mean they aren't farmers- there's a few intelligent ones out there, but the vast majority are still the easily identifiable retarded ones.
