Spammers adapt, filter adapts. If they're still getting through in a week, then something's amiss. What annoys me more than the spammers' periodical ability to get through the filter is the massive overreaction on the part of the players. Filters aren't perfect and there's so much more worth complaining about than something SOE actually got right.

Oh I know they aren't perfect. But I wish this would be addressed because this is fucking ridiculous.

Unfortunately, it's all over Vanguard as well as EQ2, I would just love to get my claws on one gold spammer and...well, I'll leave it up to your imagination. I spoke with a GM on Vanguard about it, and she made the comment that they were trying their asses off to get it taken care off, but the spammers were like a foot fungus that just won't go away.

Anyways, I'm still trying to cook up some ways to get my own revenge ont hem for when I come back.
