Re: Stay off my site you plat selling maggot spammers
I had an argument with a guildie who bought plat once just to see how he could justify doing so (I'm sure those in my previous guild knows who I'm talking about); And what it came down to was this: "I can spend 1h farming and get the plat, or i can spend 1h working and get money to buy a lot more plat" I never really got the equation, specially when he complained about farmers the very next day, but it gave me some insight to why people buy plat.
If thats the case, if people see them as a service rather then an annoyance and a way to cheat honest people out of their money, I'm not sure theres much to do about the plat buying side of the discussion. Information can only reach so far and i doubt it would go as far as to the people who buy plat.
What i think really needs to be done is to ban it on a government level (like Korea i think it was) so that they can take action and sue them. They would most likely switch countries but all the benefits they gain from staying "at home" would be gone, such as getting a dozen new credit cards to subscribe to games, as well as the fact that they would lose so much money in the process due to lawsuits that it might not even be worth doing.
