There's also a difference between WoW and EQ2, in the fact that EQ2 Europe is no different really from EQ2 N.America. Whereas WoW Europe is completely different than WoW N.America in the fact that you can't change a drop-down to select European or N.American servers, you are stuck with whatever you buy with no chance of changing.

Lets for a second say that I am in the military and fucked into working overseas for a couple years at some gay base in a "chinese farm country" I see that Eq2 is comming out and I loved eq1.
