Exploit?

I was harvesting ore nodes on Blackwind Isle today, and of course I see the usual bot group aggroing all the near aviaks , etc.

Along comes a wiz with a non-sensical name, ripping through mobs. It became a sort of fight to get the nodes in the area. I put it off, and did my thing.

Out of the blue...I've evac'd. Hmm....didn't think I had, but I'll grant it might have been a mistake.

15 minutes later...BOOM...I've evac'd....WTF?

Starting to bother me now...so I'm watching what this other player does. At least 45 minutes go by...nothing unusual....he's ripping mobs...I'm harvesting & killing when I have to.

I swear, I'm harvesting a node, leaning back in my chair....and I'm evac'd AGAIN!

I can understand once...maybe twice me being a fuckwit.....but 3 times, while leaning back?

Are you sure it wasnt the game delivering you to a safe location because it thinks you fell through the world? Do you run multiple accounts at once?
I know when I'm triple boxing, after my PC has been on a good while any account that was launched after the first one will begin to have this problem, then weird shit starts happening like characters being ported then when they load up they are teeny tiny and run really fast.

RRC-> I don't box....I can run around that area for hours with no problem. I reported & talked to a GM ingame about it.

I sent the guy a tell that a GM was investigating, & he left the area.

What's weird is my Evac spell is down for 15 minutes...and I know I didn't see the spell casting bar. It takes a bit to go off...5 or 8 seconds or whatever it is.

I used to have a similar problem with feign death popping whenever and wherever, especially handy when MT'ing a few mobs and having them eat a caster or two.

Then one day it stopped happening.

Well, the day you said this was happening to you, there was kinda a bug that may have possibly allowed the farmer to evac you. It was allowing people to use the /useabilityonplayer command to use spells that should be self only, pet only, etc on other players. For example, you could use your Call of Qeynos/Overlord on someone else, conjurors could use expiation to actually kill a group member, both summoner classes could use Call Servant as a COH, all classes with stances (even pet stances) could cast them on others... etc.

Now, I don't know this 100% sure, but... its possible that with that bug, the wizard could use their portal spell, the self evac, on another player that wasn't even grouped. I don't know of anyone actually trying any spells on non grouped players, so I don't know if thats what they were doing, but since the spell is never designed to be used on someone other than themselves, it wouldn't carry the group friend or raid or group friend, or friend tag, and maybe thats what happened.

I must have missed that day, there are a number of awesome things I would have done if this is true. I wonder how good I would be planeshifted with arcane minion and exasperate on me.
