Instead of farming trash, they'd go after the real money: form a raid guild, and sell loot rights to fabled gear.

Of course, that would require skill, and they wouldn't be able to farm in Tier 2 gear.

Are you suggesting (OMG!) that that a person killing low level trash wearing low level gear can earn more in game than that person could working collectively with the best geared and most skilled guilds world wide? Gasp!

OMG...are you suggesting that gold farmers spend the time to gear up, learn new zones and become current on content, the whole time they won't be making nearly as much plat, just so they can become instantly visible and banned the moment they become successful at farming raid loot?

p.s. there's more that one raid guild that sells items for RMT.
