i hate plat spam as much as the next guy and all, but i logged in my old swg account just to see who if anyone was around and i stroll over to the once packed mos eisley on tatooine and heres what i see.








this takes some balls to do. standing out in the open spamming away with impunity.

but.

id rather see this then get spammed when im in lyceum or unrest and have some chinker screw up my train of thought when i have to stop dps'n to tell the plat farmer to fuck off.

A little off topic. At one point they had forced everyone to use a shitty UI that you couldn't do a damn thing with also against the EULA to use a custom UI which is total BS. It was a grey background and looked pretty static. Everntually they set it up so you could at least move stuff around. Your UI looks more of the old school style SWG.. Did they change it again?

That hotbar limit was just a pain in the ass button mashing fest.

its a mod i got from the mandalorians .yeah that nge ui made my eyes and colon bleed. a dude sent me a mod to get the old ui back. i would post screenies on the swg forums before i got permabanned for something really gay, and not once did i get a reprimand for having the old ui.

id get so many pm's asking for the ui mod that i was using. i even had a mod that got me back the old saber animations like dervish. man that animation rocked.


Also id like to share a great way to really shove it up plat farmers asses.



heres what i do:

i google eq2 gold or what not and i find the cheapest price for plat.

i then purchase the plat, once i get my plat, i have my wife do a charge back on her credit card. works like a charm.

i love fucking with those people, so i walk away with free plat and i get to stick it to em.

lol yea i would do this if i had a credit card, except for the risk involved in it in getting banned for "transactions with illegitimates" or w/e they are calling it now. not worth the risk IMO unless i set up an intricate imbezeling ring for it all, complete with IP scrambling and fake chat logs from myself too myself, and even then its a fucking waste of time. would rather just farm and have fun

I don't care if you end up not paying for it in the long run or not, you're still dealing with them. You buy and receive plat, the transaction was complete. Do you think that sony cares if you change your mind and don't want to pay for it?
It doesn't stimulate the economy. Go do something in game and earn your plat, imo.
