How many people get responses from the plat
spammers, though, even with insulting Mandarin? I tend to assume they're either highly scripted and/or they scroll tells through so fast, they couldn't see a reply. I suppose if you can track down their toon in person and disrupt them with duel bets or whatever, they might start paying attention. Yelling at them in tells so far has done jack all.
I kinda wish I still worked at the Japanese bookstore around here which had some Chinese staff. I could ask them the Mandarin for all sorts of evilness. Like "free vacation incoming, motherfucker!" to send to a botter a few seconds before a GM bans his ass. (Sorry, "investigates" him such that him and his other toons log out immediately and never log back in.) Or "would you rather buy 4 new accounts, or would you rather get the fuck out of my dungeon?" (Not that I wouldn't petition them anyways.)
I know lines like that aren't especially clever and all, but I'd rather make the farmers really mad. Threatening them with bans and telling them to fuck off in
English can piss them off already. Would be that much sweeter in Chinese. Insulting spammers just doesn't have as much potential since they haven't spent days grinding those toons and, after a ban, they can get right back to doing the same thing they were doing before, on a new account.
