I used to get them sucked into conversations all the time. All of em have some hard luck story. Frankly I dont believe em. I know life sucks in China for the normal people, so no hate, I just dont think they all have to support 5 generations of relatives and need to have surgery on their youngests sons big toe.

actually, I talked to the guy the other day. He's really nice... I was gonna harass him for a while but then he apologized and i felt bad for the guy =( ... CS in china is like having a burger flipper degree for mcdonald's in here so that should explain it.

I actually had a plat /farmer/ save my ass once... (if you're curious as to how, or why, I would need a plat farmer to save me, I was levelling an alt and needed to kill the 'solo' arrow up mob for the quest series in SS that ends up as the amulet of ro quest thing)

Some of them are nice people that will help you if you need it... I'm sure some of them aren't, just like some normal players aren't. If it were the best paying job for work you could do (for whatever reason... moving to the US or another better-off country isn't always an option), and hell, even if it weren't, how many of you would choose a job to play video games all day? Especially considering what some of the other options are in that area of the world. Obviously not all Asians work in sweat shops, just saying.

Yeah I guess its like the IRS man everyone fucking hates him but, doesnt mean he is a dick.....you just hate his job and what he does.

I have worked with two people who migrated here from China. One was a nurse who was forced into her occupation, the other a student who's family ran to get away from the oppression. While in America you may do about anything you want with a computer science degree, in China you kind of get forced into what they need/want you to do (at least this is what I have been told by two different Chinese people who ran from communism). While the nurse is happy being a nurse, what if she loved something else as a child?

BTW, I do not in any way shape or form condone plat selling/buying and yes I feel sorry for the people who are exploited by the companies who sell/farm/buy plat
