And if you don't like someone's ideas or questions, to the degree that you want them silenced the way Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton would against talk radio, you can go fuck yourself and there's the door. Best of luck finding something else because let me tell you, there is nothing the fuck else.

What Faabio and the Nagafen crew do is not an anomaly but perfectly representative of PvP. Shit talk and PvP are one and the same; you cannot separate the two nor should you, because shit talk is what gives PvP its flavor. It's like this in every game.

The site isn't going downhill, this is just a changing of the guard.



Harping on legit endgame players sharing accounts with other legit endgame players really shows you (a) aren't the least bit pragmatic, and/or (b) can't read the pulse of the game.

You know what the EULA is to us? Last-ditch legalese we throw against people truly truly destroying the in-game experience and can't or won't be stopped by other rational means. It's like a traffic cop who tosses the "following too closely" charge against somebody he just doesn't fucking like or trust.

You know why I chase Chinese plat pharmers to the grave but laugh heartily to EL's old antics? Because exactly like I told someone else, Chinese plat pharmers are like carpenter ants, soulless wraiths who chew up the game and shit it out and walk away indifferent, with no care for either our preservation or their own. The rest of us, with all our faults, all our dramas and past fuckups, are here to pay our $15, enjoy the company of friends, and simply have a good time. Stamp out and get the fuck rid of anything that interferes with that or turns it into downright labor. I'm payin da billz here bitch.



Many of us would be lying if we gave that reason for anything at all. We disliked the official forums because of the lack of freedom, because of the harrassment that people received from moderators when they didn't stay within the lines of politeness or form. That's all gone here, and the people upset about too much freedom are just being pussies.

Go ahead folks, create your stupid fucking exclusive raid forum. I assure you, nobody will visit it, and you'll grow quickly tired and bored of maintaining it. Not to mention the premature aging caused by the whole nose-to-asshole daisy chain.

I have to wonder about LFG's post; the SNL analogy makes sense in one way I suppose, but I also remember him saying he made EQ2Flames for the people like Khalan who got banned from the official forums for opinions about the game. In depth, honest, open opinions about the game and what is wrong with it.

So is he saying us "old guard" were the intelligent, witty cycle and now we're stuck in the stupid cyle for awhile until the rinse cycle?
