NGD and Serious NGD? Sounds like the retarded Master I/Master III arms race. Redundant and will make it harder to find anything and easier for a loser to unseat someone on a thin technicality.

Well, I was thinking more of a EQ2 related fluff forum. All things EQ2 without any particular topic. That'll leave serious gameplay topics with a place to be and would be different than the anything goes forum that moves at a rather fast pace.

The new section will be for serious, non-spam non-game related discussion. I really need one in the top section. The existing section can then cruise along as it always has without changes. It is still the "Everything Else" section, which means everything that doesn't fit somewhere else, including in the new Serious General Discussion section.

If you think about it, I'm hopeful you'll agree that it makes perfect sense.

I think you just need to enforce the upper sections for spam and make an area for contests or just allow exception for contest threads that you start. I don't think moving or merging sections is going to help this situation and honestly I think it would hurt the forums.

I'd further like to point out I don't think your polls are worthless; it's awesome that you ask for input but at some point you have to say fuck you all I'm the owner/operator and will do what I want. When you start having polls that are too close to one another well you put yourself in sticky situations.

Still, I think the upper areas just need these people sending to PMs to instead help police the forum by starting rate a retard posts against offenders. Stop being a whiney bitch and putting your problems on LFG step up to the plate and utilize this forum's tools.

why not just put the 6th section up 2 and make it the new 4th section? people wanting to use the class / server sections need to scroll anyway..

this way it's still on the bottom.. just above the long sections.

imo its actually fine.. but if you have to do anything why not just do that?

Why not make a forum in the top section for "Administrative Announcements" or something like that, somewhere you can put important administrative polls or announcements. I believe you can make a setting to where You and/or Niber are the only ones who can start a post, but anyone can post replies. Then you have your section for polls to stay away from the "hypocrite" accusations without the need to have a "serious" and "non serious" NGD.

Relax - and read the title of this section. This one is for information relating to this site. The Everything Else is for all other non-gameplay information.

Which reinforces the point I was making about almost nobody reading the site feedback posts I was posting in the lower section.

Hopefully, this new section will be better for non-gameplay site issues and information.
