Happy Birthday EQ2Flames - custom titles turned on for all users
In celebration of our first year anniversary, I just turned on custom titles for all users.
You can now change your title as you please in your user profile screen - click UserCP in the top link bar on any page.
A few caveats and rules:
-What I turned on were "text only" titles, not "HTML titles". Class Leaders and users with 20+ referrals can change their title at will using HTML, so they get fancy, colored titles rather than plain text titles.
-If you already have a colored, HTML title, think twice before changing it. If you do, you will lose the color, and gain only the different plain text title you specified. I will not have time to add custom HTML code to your title in the admin console if you do this. I will not have time to return PMs asking what happened to the color in your title, and can you get it back or added, if you failed to heed this warning and changed your title to plain text.
-The new title system is a privilege, not a right. I cannot possibly foresee every possible way users can and will abuse this new privilege, so it comes with this warning:
If you make a title for yourself that violates Site Rules, I will not only delete it, I will also forever remove your ability to change your title in the future, PLUS I will make your new, permanent title on this site "Ask me about my manboobs". So be very careful before you abuse my trust and attempt to do something in violation of the Site Rules - I'm not fucking around, and don't have time for tears.
