Signatures in violation of website rules

With the newfound traffic of spammers penetrating this website, I find myself finding more and more users that are either unaware of the signature rules, or they blatantly ignore them as if rules don't apply to them. My signature was too large when I first came to this website, and someone pointed that out to me. I fixed it, and life moves on.

I just spent 15-20 minutes randomly browsing the site and found 25 signatures that were clear violations of the signature rules.

Honestly, you idiots, if you are going to degrade this website into nothing but posts of "I like cats" or "lawl" then fucking keep your goddamn signatures in check. Having to look at the same retarded image 40 times in one thread is dumb and only attracting attention to yourself.

I left out a couple names that technically violate the rules, but I believe the spirit of the rules overwrite the letter of the law. For example, Gaige's signature is longer than 600px, but its 1 line of text - possibly 2 on some people's monitors. It's not a huge ass image with 1-5 lines of text below it, too.

while i understand the need of saving bandwidth by requesting people to use some specific size signature, dont you have anything better to do than looking for people to report? feeling like trying to be an SOE board moderator?

It's not really about like or dislike, it's more about huge ass sigs. Yes, yours violates the rules, too.

Your name wasn't in the list as I pretty much only scanned a few of the "spam" threads that are now rampant here.

Seriously now, can you deny there's a problem? Look at TheLounge's or Kaizer_Sosay's signature for example. I can understand that some just aren't aware of the rules, but then that brings us to Faabio (sig), Morara (sig), and kaif (sig) who know the rule, just don't give a damn to follow them.

Everyone on that list needs to comply with our sig rule, please. Our very generous sig rule allows sigs up to 150x600 px, with a 400 KB file size. That limit includes the entire sig area - you can't have a graphic sig that's 150x600 px and then also have text below, above or beside it.

When this hasn't been strictly enforced in the past, sigs start to creep up and we end up with 8x11 inch sigs, and some bigger than 4 mb in terms of file size.

Next to all of those signatures are within the limit (and way below the file size) for what a signature should be, with just an addition of a line of text.

Maybe you should put a golden star next to everyone's name that distorted the signature rule by such a menial degree?

Pathetic that someone would be this completely ass hurt his signatures are horrible he'd spend time to go through the website and find out MENIAL violations in signatures. (Yes, I'm talking to you Lucutious)

An extra line of text is the least of your worries for this website
