Dear God. Don't start making them think they have fans outside of this small little world. We'll never be able to live with their egos.

I'd say its up to LFG and Niber to advertise their site. If they want a broader audience, then they need to appeal to one. The problem with that is, more posters means more complaints and no one wants to fuck with that.

Inevitably with forums, there will be a clique that posts regularly, and others will be intimidated and unwilling to step in as newbs. Its like being the new kid at school in the middle of the school year.

I'm well aware. LFG asked the posters to because this site banned from mention on the official site and word of mouth was the best method. That's no longer an issue, so LFG could smear the Flames name all over if he chose to.

Well a good way to get people here, specially more tacos, is if I decided to take one for the team and posed half naked for EQ2 Flames.

As can we. Being an Admin or Moderator doesn't really give you more power over anything other than the site you control or help control. Since it is no longer banned from Station Forums thats a lot more people who can include it in sigs and such...which is better than 2 imo.

This whole word of mouth shit was because no one could openly broadcast it on station forums and similar websites due to the crude and immature environment. Although it still is that, its not as bad.

You do the math..2 vs 100. If they do it in a nice, mature and spam free fashion..100 is much better than 2 and will have better results. Who on the forums actually open broadcast over the channels in game remotely regular (Like once a week)?

Miroh, I'm sure regular users do what they can. I've never been afraid to toss the Flames name and a link in on an article, guide, or in our news.

When I did play, I also said why go to the forums, use eq2flames, so much more info there, even have guides too ... I also used to plug EQ2I over allakhazam etc...

People are going to come to EQ2flames and offer some type of positive influence because they hear about it from an off chance or word of mouth.

Not because you tell them to come here and list you as a referral.
