CONTEST: $100 CASH for FIRST TOON to 80!

NEW CONTEST to celebrate the upcoming ROK expansion!

This contest was suggested by Sylow from CL on Kith.

It's simple: the first player to level a toon to 80 gets $100 cash, by Paypal, from moi.

Rules:

1. No whining that other people are loaded with exp potions and society is unfair because you don't have any. I'm sorry if it sucks to be you and they got exp pots through LON trades, perhaps you can make up for it by not sleeping for a week, I dunno. But this contest doesn't care about how anyone gets to 80, only who gets there first.

2. There will be only one winner. In the event two players reach 80 at the exact same microsecond, or if two players claim to be first and I can't verify which was actually first, you will split the prize. My total liability in this contest is $100, no more and no less.

3. Must be a registered user on this site to enter and win. Must register on this site at least 24 hours before claiming to win, I'm not paying anyone who doesn't use this site and finds out about this contest after or near when they ding 80. In the unlikely event the first to ding is one of the half dozen players banned on this site, it truly sucks to be you, because you aren't winning shit, and I will pay the next place winner.

4. The prize goes to the user of this site who posts verifiable proof on this site that they dinged 80 as an adventurer before any other user of this site. Your EQ2Players profile must NOT be restricted, and you must NOT be anon in game, when you ding 80 until I can verify your entry and ding time.

I'm open to better, faster, and more failsafe forms of level verification if anyone has any ideas.

If the first level 80 is a tradeskiller, do they get the prize or is it only adventurers?

Adventurer only. Sadly, it is too easy to manipulate tradeskilling to level quickly. Plus, I would just win this contest myself then, since I can level crafters faster than anyone else in the universe, and everyone who lost would cry about that.

So that's why tradeskilling isn't included in this contest, adventuring only.

You should probably add a disclaimer. ie.. I am not to be accounted for anyone fired over this, passes out and causes a 25 car pile up on thier way to work, forgets to eat, develops hemeroids, gets a divorce, arrested over neglect of thier children, thier pc overheats and causes a 9 alarm fire and burns down 8 blocks of apartments in manhatten, uses this $100 bill to purchase a gun to shoot thier wife that won't stop yelling at them to get off the damn pc, etc etc etc.

Thats debatable Someone will be 80 probably in 6-7 days.

I can think of at least 2 people on Unrest who plant be 80 in under 7 days, and I believe they'll do it.

Any chance to make the people be registered longer than 24 hours? Would kind of suck to lose to someone that just signed up for this and not use the site for shit else.

Edit: Not like I will win though. Was never more than 1st monk on Server lol and that was DoF...Was 2nd monk on server for KoS.
