Thread nominations for Hall of Flames section

I can't believe nobody has mentioned something like this before (although if someone did and i missed it i apologize), but what this site really needs is a "legends" section. basically, a new section of the site where the best of the best threads get locked and moved to after the topic degenerates into nothing but spam and mindless posting. for example, threads like the one with keigo or gaige vs. disso, would be moved there so that everyone can enjoy the best of the best drama without having to search through pages and pages of old threads.

if such a thing were implemented, it should be restricted to the very best threads, not just good ones, but truly classic ones. people should be unable to post in them while they're in that section. for an example of what i'm talking about, look at the "war stories" section on this site. just a suggestion that i think would do this site alot of good.

Is not a bad idea. Let me think about it for a few days. There have been some truly epic threads on this site. I think the first thing I'd need is for people to nominate which those threads are.

I think it is a great idea, that way some of the people who came here late don't miss out on some of the epic threads that have developed here.

i think this would be the major benefit, more easily accessible drama = more traffic, heck i'd come here every once in a while just to read through some of those threads (again).

and the nomination idea is a good way to get it started i think. perhaps also a way of getting future epic threads into it as well? i like very much the possibilities with that.

heh, the more i think about it the better it sounds, please say yes LFG i'd love you forever (in a strictly platonic way of course >.>)

P.S. you can thank me for coming up with this idea by naming the section after me. The Dagg's Legends: best of the best EQ2 drama. has a nice ring to it.

I think "Game Debates" should have it's own subsection, general gameplay often has good general information and discussion but a couple massive fights about certain things always takes over.

I think it's as good of an idea as lil' newbie
