Thread nominations for Hall of Flames section

Something that has been bugging me and after digging up my original thread (Where is the Hall of Flames?) it now makes sense.

I figured out where mine failed and this thread won. I felt that I was simply dismissed but, actually I was just misunderstood. After connecting the dots, there once was a HoF board used for something other than "locked masterpieces" of "Stuff that blows center stage away and then drowns off of page one".

Not that I'm looking to take any credit or take anything away from a much better phrased pitch. I am tickled this board exists but, I could have sworn I'd pitched this EXACT same idea a few months ago. I just did it poorly and wanted to make sure I shared the epiphany for clarification.

On a side note...
I just noticed that A Tale of Supreme Jackassery got recommended. /proud

Although that thread delivered personally, I can see how it may not cut the mustard for HoF material... yet I wonder it's true potential if I'd shared the rest of the story...

I assume most folks didn't know that in my last post there, that I actually gave the name of one of my alts that made officer in GoW within two days of recruitment. ;]
(inside joke that I know some folks caught and /chuckled at)

Sadly, I fear that you fine folks were robbed of the surprise ending after the credits on that thread. It's potential never fulfilled as I decided to hold up my end of the bargain. When the Lily nuisance disappeared, I refrained. Retard was edjumicated and the thread's purpose was served.

Rest assured he delivered! Lily gave me the final nail for his coffin, PWNing himself into oblivion in my first anonymous one-on-one conversation with him... and I have screenshots... oh well... there's a whole lot more Lily hilarity but... I'm a nice guy and feel bad picking on such an easy target. /wink

there's always an innate risk of something like this happening with a section like HoF, namely that more drama develops after the thread has been considered dead. a similar example is the GM chandrok thread, which is essentially an extension of the yuyoy thread which had drifted away from yuyoy towards the end and towards chandrok.

unfortunately there really isn't an easy fix, tho if you PM'd lfg perhaps he would be nice enough to unlock it to let you add the new stuff (if you still want to) and leave it for a day or two to see if anything develops. if nothing significant comes of it, it gets locked and moved back, and if something does develop its left alone until it dies again.
