Unable to register? New registrations broken - Read this

We are having a temporary problem where the image needed to verify your registration is not showing up.

This has completely prevented new users from registering on this site for several days now.

I know the problem is valid, because I'm being flooded with email about this. I've manually registered some, but too many requests are coming in for me to handle.

Niber will look at this as soon as he can then fix it, shouldn't be long. And then, please try and register again.

On a side note, this has also completely owned the jackass who has been registering 5 new accounts every day with a porn URL in the user field. I've had to manually delete those every day since August. Maybe he will go somewhere else now.

I made some changes to the image verification library, hopefully that will fix the registration problem.

Please send me email to eq2flames@comcast.net if you still can't register, and include the user name you want in your email.

Added a few "trivia" questions to cut down on spam bots. I hope they don't prevent anyone legit from joining.

(Let me know if you have a problem with one of the questions, or have a good one I can add.)

You should ask them what's the capital of South Dakota.
