This site is *NOT* catered to the raid community! This site is open to anyone who wants to join, soloers, groupers, raiders, artisans, roleplayers, even PVPers. So please, don't state that. Just because it was started by a raider does not mean its catering to his playstyle. Hell, I only raid casually and I helped with this! So lets squash that misconception right now.

I agree.

Personally, Id rather see the server-specific boards removed. Anything you can say there can be said somewhere else, server-specific is just a cowards way of hiding from everyone else.

I'd rather leave up the server specific boards for now, if you'd rather not see them, you can collapse them by clicking the triangle thing in the header graphic.

I get the feeling that some of the Nagafen guys might end up getting pretty intense and crude, which is ok with me, and letting them have their own forum to do that might be appreciated by other users, especially women. Then again, I dunno.

How bout we give it a couple weeks and revisit the issue - I will gladly remove any substantially unused forums after a couple weeks, and can merge threads in any removed forum with threads in any remaining forum.

The forum layout is nice. More boards = more threads = more discussion which is what these forums are for. SoE fucked up the EQ2 servers soo much that these are not just a supplement for most people they are replacement boards.

I also thought there were to many forums. A cool thing I just noticed though is next to them, you can minimize sections. Now you can still have the large amout of forums and posts to go with them but you can minimize stuff for less clutter.

Just minimize Server Communities and suddenly everything seems perfect.

Collapsing server forums is really easy to do, i thought there was too many until I found that feature.

Well like I said, I'm for less forums, most forums stay active longer when their are less sections. I operated a gaming forum for 6 years, and one mistake I made at one point was dividing it into to many forums.

Just my 2 cents.

LOL! I know i know! That's why you're welcome here. But it would do no good to have raiders if there weren't soloers also who could come in and tell them that they deserve mythical loot. Or without tradeskillers to moan that better drops come out of instances, etc etc etc. We need everyone to participate, or it just gets to be one sided hehe.

must just be a coincidence that a lot of the people on here seem to be raiders, or at least thats what most of the posts are about, maybe its because that is the group of people eq2players forums give the least amount of shit about, and have the most issues with the game

but it would suck to be those solo'ers who have yet to get the mythical items added to solo mobs loot tables

i honestly like the layout of a lot of forums, so i dont have to wade through a ton of junk posts about shit i dont care about to get to one that i actually wanna read.
