FanFaire contest trip ideas

Anyways, most of the ideas that I DO come up with you can pretty much pick the winners of if you read these boards with any regularity, so that's pretty hard to do a non-biased poll that doesn't turn into a fucking popularity contest.

Fuck it though, it should be biased, and if you want to reward some of the greatest contributors to date, then that's certainly your perogative and I'll vote on it for sure.

Ground rule you should have though:

1. They must CURRENTLY play - why the hell send someone who's a creative poster but doesn't really care about the game and/or has quit? (I.E. just here for community)

I'm trying to get some good prizes for this contest, in addition to airfaire to FanFaire. I thought that an especially good prize would be an EVGA (my favorite brand) 8800GTX card with 768 MB.

My hope for fanfaire this year is that pvp and tradeskillers get theri own panels so every panel I go to doesnt get plagued with lame fucking bullshit questions about level locking and faction or questions about why there isnt more furniture in game... again.

I definitely would like to come up with a bunch of questions addressing our serious concerns where this game is lacking however as much as I'd like to get honest answers I expect nothing being 1% of 1%.

Oh and for contest ideas since I went off topic... again the lifetime achievement and content added post contest are ok ideas however if you leave it open to vote to all users then it will just be a popularity contest.

ms eq2flames 08 could be cool but i have a feeling it will just be a repeat of last year.

I don't have any way to restrict who gets to vote on what.

EDIT: You gave me a good idea, however. Perhaps I should just have a contest at the same time called "EQ2Flames Most Popular Poster" - an official popularity contest. Then i'd set the rules so that nobody could win both contests at the same time.

Perhaps you could have an advertisement or fake commercial contest for the site...

Or have a pic contest where you have to be holding an eq2flames sign or something eq2flames related in a random or obscure or ridiculous location....

or in true spirit of the site have a flame off of sorts, where contestants would get one chance to flame someone or their guild and the best flames wins.

Maybe the most retarded IRL picture of yourself so people can photoshop them and make fun of me ... umm.. everyone before fanfair. or maybe post videos on youtube instead (no nudity... /shiver at the flash back of the one guy ... all i remember is squirrels for some fucking reason) explaining (in 30 seconds or less) why you deserve should go for free.
