Several reasons.

1. His inability to follow the rules regarding signatures, despite warnings.

2. His refusal to read and accept the rules of the site. First claiming he didn't see them and then arguing they shouldn't apply to him.

Now, in that thread you can see he was given several chances to read the rules and contribute to the community. But instead of mending his ways and joining the community he decided to snitch, which while not a bannable offense doesn't exactly endear him to the community either. Regardless, everyone here is expected to read and agree to the Site Rules.

When evaluating whether or not to keep him banned my train of thought was; do I ever see him accepting the rules and becoming a valuable member of the community? At the time I didn't see that ever happening without at least some type of timeout (warnings were obviously not working) but the duration of that timeout was something I was uncertain of, so the poll was created. If you think Fungie can follow the rules and add meaningful content in the near future then vote accordingly.
