Referrals under other names
If a new registrant cites a referral under a non-member name, does that get discarded or queued for review? It's conceivable that someone may have used my main character name instead of my eq2flames name.

I don't believe it will allow you to enter an invalid user name in referral - it won't allow you to complete registration until you correct it.

When you register, you can name a referral, the person who told you about the site. Once a person had a specific number of people using them as a referral they got special features.
