I've said before that threads with input from a SoE person will be monitored more than regular threads to make sure the thread stays on topic. The reason is so SoE people aren't bombarded with unrelated issues when they choose to post. I just believe they are more likely to post here if they are able to pick the topics they want to talk about, and don't feel like they are getting rushed by a herd of stampeding elephants everytime they post.

I'm not exactly sure what the topic of this thread is, but it has absolutely nothing to do with the 150+ page drama post currently on the Nek boards. Stated another way, how would you feel if you got asked 100 totally unrelated questions everytime you wanted to talk about a different, specific issue. It would wear you down to the point you wouldn't want to talk about anything at all. Let's not do that here.

I just wanted to point that out and remind people. Let's keep each circus in it's own tent to the greatest extent possible when a dev or other SoE person posts here, I believe that will result in better information and feedback for all of us.

Again, I don't think you'll be seeing many rank and file SoE people acting in an official capacity here.

That being said, Smed does just fine over on FoH's boards without any additional scrutiny from the admins. If he wants to address something, he does. I assume Devs are big boys & girls.

In other words, I don't think they're pussies like people like Kendricke who won't engage in debate outside the warm, safe security blanket that is the way over-moderated SoE Boards.
