I know I have not been all too active in the site as of late... but since when could we edit posts after 15 minutes? I have posts from December that I can edit.

Might of been just me but I thought it was better when people couldn't erase old posts they later regretted.

Niber is to lazy to give people editing rights so he just turned it on for the entire website.

Not completely true.

Since we upgraded to vBulletin to 3.7.* the edit-overwrite modification no longer works. It was written by Ody (a former EQ2 player) and he's very busy with real-life obligations.

But, that said, not having to give 10+ edit rights a day doesn't make me lose sleep either.

You might check with Wargore over at aocunrated.com, Niber. I think he got his edit mod running on the vBulletin 3.7.0 or I can hit him up for the package if you'd like.

I know 3D Realms Forums - Powered by vBulletin has a 24 hour edit on their 3.7.x and Wargore says it's a default feature in 3.7. I'd like to help but, need to score a vB license to check out the code on the project site. /grumble

It's not about changing the timer, it's about being able to override it for certain threads.
