*smiles* It really depends on what the person hiring me requests.. I try to match their character to their description and their request rather than the look of the character in game.. as those are pretty cookie cutter. If the person hiring me to do the artwork loves it, then I am happy.

That skin tone above is actually the same as used in THIS Image.. but due to lighting it appears different shade.. cooler colored lights mean cooler colored tones.. warmer colored lighting = warmer tones. The same rules apply to artwork as it does to real life.
