Sig crackdown
As a reminder, our sig rule states:

M. Signatures: Your entire sig must not be larger than 150 pixels high by 600 pixels wide in total, with all graphics and text included. Total graphics in a sig may not exceed 500 Kb.

The purpose for our sig rule is to keep things reasonable. When the sig rule is not strictly enforced, things begin to spiral out of control until I see what I've seen recently, which include sigs as tall as 800 px. I consider oversized sigs to be an eyesore. They also make use of this site inconvenient for others, increase page height, increase page load times, etc.
Please reduce your sigs to the max height allowed, or don't be surprised when you find it reduced for you.
Feel free to rat out anyone with an oversized sig below, and I'll delete their sig file and give you credit for their loss when I remove their sig.

I just increased the sig height to 165 px based on a desire to be nice, so the new rule reads as follows:

Why doesn't vbulletin have a built in way to stop sigs over a specified size from showing? I realize it can't really judge the size of text, but not displaying images over a certain h/w shouldn't be a difficult thing to do, even if the sig isn't hosted on eq2flames.
You could even have it automatically replace sigs that are too large with a "You suck" image if you wanted.

I sure wish it did. If you can find a mod or hack that will work, please let me know and I'll ask Niber to install it.

Done. You'll have to login with your vbulletin un/pw to download it. It was written for v3.6.7 - but might still work.
