There's going to be an announcement on the Official Forums today (what's left of them), so I thought I'd let y'all know first....

I had to go and get a REAL JOB.

Okay, it's not a REAL REAL JOB. But I have to pay taxes and stuff, close enough. I've been hired as an EQ2 Allakhazam Community Manager.

And unfortunately I can't do it all, so I'm having to step down from my Admin position here at Flames.

HEY! No cheering until I'm done, geeeeeeez!!!!

I told them I needed to wrap up my obligations here (and leaving even a job like this with no notice is just rude, IMO). The major thing I have outstanding is some Q&A from Summit, I'm getting cleared through channels to make sure I understand report them correctly. Those come back here regardless of what I'm doing.

And LFG is going to maintain the soefan.com side, with the player archives.

Y'all are a bunch of the most passionate, interesting, knowledgeable people it's been my privilege to hang with on the net (well, most of you ). It's been interesting, lol. LFG has been very good to me while I worked here and I wish the Flames site all the best. And I will continue to defend your right to express your opinion the way you want to here.

I won't be hanging here as much, but if for some strange reason any of you need to get a hold of me, PM me here or on the forums.

Thank you Calthine for all your work and help on this site. Especially for setting up the new www.soefan.com content section and helping to talk to the people at SoE for me.

It is all greatly appreciated. I wish you good luck and success in your new position, and am glad you found a way to earn a living wage by using the Internet, perhaps someday I'll figure out how to do that also.

There was no one from 'Zam at the Summit. I interviewed before Summit, and got the word pretty early Monday morning. If any one at Summit had anything to do with it, they didn't tell me - but I thank any mysterious benefactors I may have had.
