Nurta, if I had to turn off every sig just so I wouldn't see a few particularly annoying ones, then I wouldn't be able to enjoy yours.

The people involved aren't objecting or contesting this situation. I was just trying to protect people who open the site from work from stuff that will be plainly visible to a supervisor from across a room. Those people may not always be able to ignore a user in advance of when something like that can appear on this site.

I don't want to make a big deal of this either, I was only trying to act reasonably based on the volume of complaints I received. When I suddenly get ten complaints from different people who are all normal, reasonable users, saying they can't use the site from work unless florescent pink sigs that say I LOVE COCK are taken down, I am inclined to act first, and seek consensus second.

If there is a preferred way of handling this situation in the future, I'm all ears.

Well I guess that's a good point but I'm one of those weird people who would rather just switch the channel or not look at something that bothers me than feel like I should prevent expression. I can understand what you did though; and frankly I could care less about cock glorifaction *giggle*. But perhaps the features of the forum could be better advertised anyway. And if you want continued support from official SoE types I can't blame you for locking things down a bit.

You handled it exactly as you should have IMO.
