A place where people post exploits.

A few special things about this "board"

None of the posters identity is visible

Nobody can read anything thats posted in this forum other than EQ2 (VERIFIED) developers

Developers can edit all posts in this forum.

The reason I suggest this forum is to give place for developers to see though out exploits and what exactly is causing the non-intended behavior.

Dunno if eq2developers want this.. but eh..

It would be easy enough to do. All I'd need to do is make a forum where only the SoE user group can view posts.

The problem is, I'd still be able to see those posts as admin. To the best of my knowledge, that would still violate SoE's ToS and license agreement for EQ2.

Reporting exploits is what the /petition process is for in game. I realize the frustration being expressed is that process seems like a one way street - that reporting a bug or exploit is like writing a letter to Santa.

I'd definitely put up a special forum here for SoE people only for that purpose if requested by them, but I'm not sure I could do it unless requested by them, since we need to stay legit and respect their license agreement and intellectual property rights, which can definitely apply outside the game and on this site to restrict posting of exploits and other informaiton harmful to the game.

The fastest and one of the most effective methods to report exploits has been to PM one of the Devs either on the main forums or here. And always, include as much detail as possible including zones, mob names, times it was supposedly used, etc. Having something like that posted on a board means that it needs to be checked on a moderately regular basis, and that adds just another location to need to be monitored which is time consuming and can become quickly forgotten if regular posts don't occur.

That way it keeps it out of a wide view, allows for anonymous submission, and ensures it will probably be fixed (reasonably) quickly.

Well.. Thanks for the feedback... I at least know someone's reading what i put in...

Please someone get aa's to proc spells.. thats the last complaint i have.. (for example, torporus strike and walk the plank will not proc amazing reflexes)

everything else is worked on or known...
