I don't mind the "click to skip" adds that come up. I've been clicking them for quite a while now with only mild annoyance. It's obviously there to pay the bills and I can respect that.

But I turned off the Firefox add blocker I use at home this morning for this site and immediately got a pop up add... the ones that open thier own special window which scared me.

I trust LFG not to purposely infect anyone but isn't turning things off unsafe? Before everyone jumps to bash me... I'm not stupid but I am ignorant about this topic. But I don't want to do anything to risk my computer.

I'll be paying the $10 when I have it but that won't be immediate. I wish I'd known a long time ago about the donating to remove adds... before the economy tanked I would have done that without thinking twice and been happy to do it. I belive in supporting what I use.

ps. its one box that pops up, usually netflix, and then the click to skip ad.

first link i click = netflix, second = click to skip. never anymore besides the ones on the side / top. deal with it or pay 10 dollars, shit.

We get a nickel for the popunders, and a fraction of a fraction of a cent for the top banner and left skyscraper ads, when they show commercial ads rather than PSAs.
