Yes, I actually want to make my own sig...

I have tried over and over to make my own sig, but it won't quite come out right. I know it's so cool to make one that doesn't have a screenshot in it, but I'm not cool. I want to have a screenshot of my toon.

Huge problem so far has been that most sites aren't compatible with Vista. WTF is that all about?

Anyway...any help on how to make my own sig would be fantabulous. I don't want someone else to make it and I'm sure as hell not going to pay for one.

Photoshop is pretty pimp for making sigs. Only takes about 5-10 mins to make a decent one. If you're just looking to have one made, I could do it for free. Beats downloading all kinds of shit. Just send me a PM if you want and I'll give you my e-mail.

PS is king here. Just edit out a picture of your character that you want to use, place in a suitable window, then throw in pretty, shiny background stuff and text.

If your on a budget since PhotoShop is not a cheap program... use MS PowerPoint, and once you have tweaked everything where you want it... press a alt+print screen, and then open MS Paint to dump. After that just trim the excess bullshit from PowerPoint out to where you have a siggy, save, and done.

Assuming you have office. I would think that you would be able to pull this off with Open Office as well.

Yeah I've tried it several different ways, including online templates and just can't quite get it to what I want. Gonna try again today

I tried Paint again before I got frustrated and got some nifty results, but still can't quite get the screenshot to show up right.

These are the screenshots I was trying to use...maybe photoshop would be a nice Christmas present to myself. Researched it today and OMG is it expensive.
