Couldn't find anywhere else to put this so feel free to move it.

Most of the forum posts for servers get quickly pushed to the button of the list with guild recruitment threads. Could we have a seperate sub forum for each server with guild threads (single one per guild) with recruitment or whatever etc. I wouldn't mind if it was actually interesting things going on but mostly it's just freakin bumping. If people want a guild they can go look in the sub forum and with only guild posting there , there will be less of a reason to bump. In the subforum to counter that. Simply add a sticky at the top with a link to all the guilds making sure they all get listed.

That sticky should be gamewide, divided up by server; just a whole bunch of links all within one post that direct you to other posts. Then, no need to do all this retarded bumping every 90 minutes like some guilds feel the need to do (FFS RAMP KNOCK IT OFF). I don't even play this game anymore and this shit is just as annoying as it was before.

We could even add classifiers like shorthand for raid times and general attitude of the guild right before the link.

I hope I didn't blow anyone's mind here. This can't be the first time someone has recommended this.

The server forums have never been taken seriously. Legitimate discussions originate in the top or class forums.

We could add separate recruitment forums for each server but that seems excessive and unnecessary. And who's going to moderate/move all the threads that aren't posted in the correct section? Not a job I want, progressions threads are already an annoyance because of so many OPs quitting the game. Frankly, we should probably only allow recruiting in the game-wide recruitment forum now that transfers are relatively inexpensive. But I don't consider this policy change a priority, perhaps LFG will take up your cause.

i dont think changing the layout is the answer. maybe you could ban the fucking retards that bump their recruitment threads over 9000 fucking times a day instead.

or ban recruitment threads in server drama...there is already a recruitment forum, people just need to use it.

It's probably a better idea to keep that forum for srs guilds, actually.
