Most IE7 problems are from add-ons to the browser that don't properly recognize the fact that you can have tabbed browsing, which hides controls even though the browser never actually loses focus.

That being said, Firefox is really a nice browser and with the IETab extension that lets you switch to the IE rendering engine for a specific tab when you need then you end up with the best of both worlds.

I actually removed IE7 and went back to 6 this morning. That in itself was something of an adventure, lol.

I was getting huge slowdowns when I had IE7 open and absolutely anything else, from EQ2 to a second IE7 window.
