I've never tried Vent just Tspeak and Skype so forgive me if this sounds dumb. Are there channels set up or the ability that you can create temp rooms or is it all just a big group of people talking at once? Can this only be used for those playing EQ2? Like what if I don't play but still want to log and see what's happening?

Vent > TS. Anyone can use it, not just people in EQ. There are diff channels, and by asking i'm sure you can get your own channel for people if you need it with a password so it can't be spammed by random people. So log in and talk to me cause no one else wants to use it ><
We're going to take down the Ventrilo server soon. Apparently (in the small print) of the license agreement they mention only allowing 8 clients max unless you purchase a cooperate license (of 1000). That and the fact nobody really uses it right now leaves me to believe we're better off without it.
We're going to explore IRC chat in the near future. Hopefully that will pacify everyones lingering need to chat.
I went in one day but I wasn't admin and couldn't boot Calbyium for no reason(not that I would have, but the knowledge I could have would have felt good)....so I haven't logged back in.
no one been using this? everytime i check it out no one is there
