Looks like there's no fees if you keep any future advertising separate from the TS server, and don't use the server to draw a profit.

TeamSpeak from my experience doesn't have near the sound quality.

It's a tradeoff. Overall quality of TeamSpeak is lower, but you never get the weird situation where two people try to talk at once, and the server decides to boost the outbound on one of them and rape everyone's ears.

A couple days ago me and falco spammed as many channels as i could think of for people to come in and talk in the flames vent...to my suprise there was a big response, but many people would log in and sit in a channel by themselves for awhile then just log off. that was kinda weird but for all the people that stayed and chilled out for awhile it was pretty kewl. it was neat talking to people from casuals to the hardcore raiders.

Niber, please set up Teamspeak instead of Vent from the link provided above.

If you configure it to not exceed 100 slots, it is license free, since we are non-profit and not charging for it's use.

I hope this will work for everyone.

Vent has better sound than Teamspeak but TS is so much easier to use. Also you don't need to adjust everyone's volume because one person is really low and another person is screaming.

teamspeak instead of vent? i think thats a really poor decision. most poeple use ventrilo now. I havent even heard of teamspeak in over a year. Hell, on pickup groups with my fury I have gotten a few people to ask me to join a ventrilo just for the heroic instance.

Teamspeak is going the way of roger wilco, and I say GOOD RIDDANCE!

The reason is, I can't purchase a 1000 user license, which I would be required to do with Ventrillo to keep it on the site.

Teamspeak is free, since we don't charge for use, we can enable 100 slots.

Free is better than nothing, right?
