Default STA line beneficial debuff - what all can it strip?

I noticed the 2nd ability on the STA line will strip X levels of beneficial poison, dis, magic, heat, cold buffs...

Curious if this works on some of those irritating buffs on certain named mobs? IE ridiculously high damage shields, % to stun or fear when you hit with a melee weapon, etc.

yup, works on raid mobs... aka damage shields in mmis, and/or the many versions of mayong.

Probably some others things also... just dont know the exactly names.

any dmg shield that's heat or noxious based, so look for the icons of the buffs on the mobs. the most common r thorns (tender, mistress, treah, etc) or dark caress (mayong, several of the vamps, blood colussus, etc) then u can strip it.

Don't bother maxing it though. I believe at lvl 4 or 5 it is already high enough to strip ROK mobs.

Until you get 20 more AA in RoK why even be Sta line anyway? That's for wardens!

I thought the STR line was for wardens... ok, if not STA, what is the other line that traditionally goes with INT for a fury? I only have 80 or so AA at this point on my Fury, so I've only done INT, Animalism and Vortex, and up to the debuff in STA. Was planning on finishing up STA and going 448 in AGI for charm animal in ROK, where I see lots of potential targets for this spell... What am I missing?

STA line isn't bad if you have nothing left to put things elsewhere. If you raid id suggest AGI line first to get AE immune and the charm will help you solo through RoK.
and yeah STR is for wardens.

I wanted to play with Wild Regeneration. Since I now have this charm spell, I started using it.

Sadly, this pet is actually turning out to be a better pet than my 55 coercer's charm spell (Adept 3).

I don't get it... in what way is this "sad" for a Fury?

Sad for the coercer.

My charmed Rhino or Tiger can hold aggro and deal decent damage. Toss in a heal and the pet is a very effective addition to dps for what I lose in buffs. The coercer, on the other hand, doesn't fair as well.

Granted, I just betrayed and don't have the class down yet. Due to the mechanics of the charm, whatever you grab turns into a no arrow non-heroic. At level 55 with an Adept 3 charm, I grabbed a level 56-57 ^^^ heroic spectre from the Eye in SS. I then dragged it back to the 51-53 no arrow solo Dune Spiders and watched my bad-ass looking spook get it's ass handed to it.

When I'm either done with my Fury/Mystic or just bored with RoK, I'll work on it some more. For now, I'm just dissapointed in the Coercer. On the flip side, I'm having fun with the Fury charm.
