What's wrong with Back into the Fray/Back to the Pack?

I noticed that these spells sometimes do not heal. They are also missing in the log. It is like the heal amount is getting lost.
I know, this sounds strange, but my sister(-fury) noticed the same. We think, it happens mostly after switching player target during raid.
So I thought it would be good to ask here, if this bug (?) is known.
Sorry for posting, if a threat discussing this problem already exists.

I honestly have not noticed that as I have seen it at least show up in my own logs, but I am gonna have the parsers look it up for me out of curiousity.

nothing, looked at logs etc no problems over 3 instance groups and 2 raids...

very weird!

Since RoK we had occasional heals disappearing, but they are a rare phenomenon.
I lost a b-i-thefray with my fury once and our templar lost a big heal once. Not common at all, prob a result of a lag spike or whatever, still it happened.

I have noticed that sometimes when you change targets quickly and cast a heal shortly after that, it casts the spell on your old target instead of your new one. This was at RoK start, now a month after launch this *bug* (lag?) disappeared for me. If your old target was full hp, your heal wouldnt show up on parsers as well.

Thanks, this is what my sister noticed as well and assumed as possible reason for these heals getting lost. But we still got this problem from time to time.

are you using a /target <playername>; /usability <ability> macro?

i remember back when i used these it would cast the heal on the previous target, b/c i guess it was some kind of instantaneous read. that could be the case, or not.
