I was just wondering why we haven't heard from Slix in a long time. I just looked up his posts and he hasn't posted anything since 10/23/07. Anyone know anything?

it might not be a bad idea, i was noticing some months back things need to be cleaned up...post consolidation to item gear thread stuff...stuff stickied/unstickied.

its just getting messy, unfortunately its not an easy task, can be mundane, and does take a little bit of time.

Unfortunately I am not, I actually quit about two weeks ago. I was playing worse and worse by the day just from my general lack of interest. Being the numbers guy i figured i was devoting 25 hours a week with a total free time of 33 hours roughly 76%. When the content was created in a way it currently is, its simply just not fun. The 25 hours a week turned into work, leaving me feeling like i could only have fun about 8 hours a week, which understandably grinds at your soul.

Widem is still an active account and I said maybe id play once a week or so, but I havent logged on in about 2 weeks, and at this point have no desire to. It could be possible I just need a break from the competative gaming style i'm used to being in. I was pretty much born into this game a top end raider and looks like, even though i say ill stick around, ill prolly die that way.

Thats why i havent really posted much lately, but also I only post from work and have been busier lately.

That's exactly where I was also when I left. I was just burned out and doing shit like crafting on the other comp during raids lol. That made me play for shit compared how I used to play, and I should have recognized that earlier and left earlier.

To be completely honest, I thought about you when i noticed my play ability slipping, and by slipping its more from the standpoint of more inconsistency. I parse one fight very well and say to myself "yep i still got it" then subsequently dont try very hard the rest of the zone.

Furthermore, I played with you for maybe 6 months and all I ever remember was that during that time you were mediocre at best, and everyone, while we could still get the job done, was displeased with you to the point of almost hatred. Shit you know how it was, if you werent producing you were treated like shit, i think that at the time you being unable to participate in ventrillo shielded you from a lot of this.

The point being is that I did learn from the mistake you made from delaying what I saw to be happening. I'd rather go out with some worth than being that guy that is being a lazy fuck.

Anyways thanks for the offer with PvP, but i don't think i will be heading there. Without trying to start some type of argument, if i was going to do pvp I would choose a game where skill is matched with skill. This is not the case with any online MMO such ass eq2, wow, and the like. I've taken up FPSs for the moment and actually been brewing beer as well, its pretty fun.
