Ok, whatever. I was responding to your post about possible impact of resist rate changes. I don't need to appear uber to the community if the encounter is broken or if i am doing something wrong. I have tried 9 different methodologies for this encounter, so thanks for assuming i just keep doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results.

Many furies go in duo for this encounter. I have chatted with 3 furies who have solo'd him and 8 who duo'd him because they were unable to solo him. I have tried everything they reccomended as part of their success.

What if the encounter was changed since you duo'd it by some tweaking, as you alluded?

I guess it does not matter. Widem can look down his nose, offer up some material for meaningful discussion on a challenge i am experiencing in the game and am unable to beat, and then use my response to insult me and call me substandard.

In short, BITE ME!!!!

Our fury soloe'd this last week. tho he was very well geared for t1-t3..he followed the strat somewhere on the 1st page, root add & snare the named. I doubt anything has changed

And your guild is on a pvp server, which i am certain is exactly like a PVE server.

I can understand your frustration, but after spending as much time one him as you have stated and trying it numerous different ways what else can be assumed.

I gave you a frank, matter of fact response. I saw no reason in what you responded in hit rates and such to be any different than normal, orange, and undebuffed hit rates in general for a long time running. Sometimes the truth hurts. It wasnt an attack on your personal character or your overall intelligence, it was simply you need to try harder.

Furthermore at least you are fixated on doing it on your own. I feel its kinda sad that people resorted to duoing the encounter b/c thats an accomplishment you don't get a second try on. If what you are reporting is indicative of the entire community I think its sad that only a quarter of the raiding furies are worth a fuck.

Uhh.. the mob is a npc, not a player so yeah.. its exactly like a PVE server.

I Aeroflaem, Spent from 12am till 5am.. died 32 times... and killed this mob solo...

Killed him solo.. without respecing out of raid spec.. with no solo gear... i mean ask fiji about my gear and it makes u want to discard me as a fury because it's so horrible... and i did it with no pots.. no symbols.. no god abilities...

so in short.. it is possible... because... noobie me did it solo....

I just killed on second pull. First pull I tried kiteing but kept getting resisted. Second pull I just pulled him with starshower, AE'd with pets and burned him. Pets kept his pet dead. It was about a 2 min fight and I had no power problems or stun/stifles.

My gear sucks too so you don't have to be geared to the hilt to do this. He doesn't really even hit that hard.

I highly doubt it was a 2 min fight.
