Solo Gear

Just for the hell of it I've been working on my soloing skills. I want to be able to take down the ^^^ heroics in zones like KC.

The root 'n' nuke method seems to be the best I've tried, but in order to do any real damage I need to use vortex. I've also been experimenting with ring of rage.

My main problem atm is power. I was wondering if anyone had any advice or examples for gear that procs power off of hostile spells.

Any solo advice in general would also be appreciated.

Lava forged manacle, girdle, and sage cloak if im moving between named fast and need power bad plus my normal dps gear, i normally root then snare, ring of rage then ev, cyclone death t bolt and repeat that cycle toss in starshower whenever, and roots and snares when needed. normal stuff like mana stone whenever its up ect ect..

Among cloth gear, Soulsiphon Leggings and Foreboding Cowl are 2 decent options. The Cowl provides no DPS help, unfortunately, but it is one of the few T8 items Furies can use that has +subjugation.

I solo pretty much any ^^^s. Put AAs into Snare, and you don't need to root. My friend Doom knows this very well. And I wear 3 pieces of power proc gear. CMM Cloak, Di'Zok belt and the MO BP. Do I need all that? No, but I love to keep the power high so I can keep moving along killing shit. Sometimes to keep power really high, I use the book for 25% better proc chance (Sel'Nok Faction Merchant.) Power isn't an issue, and DPS is still high without Vortex. Learn to play a Fury. I soloed SoS w/o any raid gear in KoS. Animal Form was the way to go. And root/nuke/snare. If you have your Mythical, and you didn't need the mob nerfed like others, you should be able to solo a lot of stuff.
