Default Fury gear question, KP and beyond

Hola all. Real fast, moderately stupid question. I've run both a necromancer and a guardian through rok and have picked up the appropriate gear for both, class set items, ect.

I now have a fury that's about to go the same route. However, her gear is lacking substantially from the other two (she didn't get started until after RoK, the others before EoF). I have her in mastercrafted t7 now, and it's functional, though not the greatest.

My question is - should I buy up a suit of 72 mastercrafted or wait on quest rewards? I never did pay a lot of attention to the leather drops from the quests, so I honestly don't know.

Thanks!

I was probably returning video tapes.

Depends on how much money you have/how bad your gear is. Normally I would say no, its not worth it, mastercrafted druid armor isn't the greatest. Its not very hard to get to 74-75 and you can start going coa and voes groups and start getting the wayward moon pieces which are really nice if you don't have any raid gear, both the 3 piece and 6 piece bonuses are pretty nice. I don't believe there is any quested leather armor that is better than any of the wayward moon pieces except maybe the overflow hat and the overloaded heal chest from chardok questline. There are plenty of nice quested jewelry pieces though.

Her gear isn't totally worthless, but i know it's lacking (primarily in JC parts). I've got items for her to throw on all the way to 72, and I keep her in M1/A3s as I go.

EverQuest II Players is her EQ2Player profile.

Thanks.

Well if you're still in t7 mc by the time you get to 72 and you have the money to spend you may as well get the t8.

In all seriousness, stop slacking, get to questing, get to 80, and start doing all the instances. There are PLENTY of good healing/DPS rewards along the way. Jarsath offers up lots of nice rewards. Think of what you're going to want to do w/ your Fury. If you're one of the 'I'm a healing Fury' (which even a Fury who heals should do 1k DPS) types, then get gear that helps your healing. So many rewards out there, it is probably a waste to get the MC gear. Roll with what you got, use your AAs to your advantage, and soloing yourself to 80 in a timely manner is not out of the question.
