Well, recently, I've been drawn to reuse speed, seeing as we're heavily reliant on how much we hit with Lightning Bolt and Infusion, but also heavily reliant on power, in the process.

But anyways, I've managed to snag some gear and get 4% overall skill reuse, static; 9% total hostile spell reuse, static; and 14% total hostile spell reuse after the Reet Helm proc. I'm not sure if the reuse from gear is added straight or taken as a percent from the already affected % drop, so if someone could fill me in on that as well. I haven't been able to try it much, so I figured I'd take it to "The Forum" and see what everyone else's opinion on it would be.

In my opinion, it may help, because it will help your hostile spells to come up more often and benefit more from PotM and Aria of Magic, and any hostile spell procs you may have. Also, it allows Lightning Bolt and Starshower to come up a lot quicker, since Lightning Bolt account for a lot of our overall dps, next to Infusion, that may also help.

So... reuse? Thumbsup? Thumbsdown?

Thumbs UP on reuse. In a raid setting, our spell haste is almost capped, and can be easily capped if not already. We get about.. 60% I think from AAs on our 4 nukes, a Troubador adds another 8, and a Monk adds 15 I think. However, it's not nearly as easy to get your spell reuse up there. You do get some spell reuse from AAs on your nukes, but, it's not as much.

The belt from the RE2 Quest w/ 1%(Silten Sand Sash)
The gloves from Overking w/ 4% (Tigerheart Gloves)
If you still have it... (5%) (Ring of the Four Winds)

I'm sure there is more out there, however, this is all I use for now, and, if I had Usla's Bangle or Burdened Signet, or a variety of other rings, I wouldn't use Ring of the Four Winds.

Well, the reuse items I currently use are Starstricken Stud, Sand-Silten Sash, the cloth version of the Reet Knight collection, Muddy Orb/Gassy Scepter (with set bonus). I'd love to have Ring of the Four Winds, but I don't feel like doing that ridiculously long questline, lol.

Yes, sadly, I replaced PG... However, I'm still testing it out.

I firgure, later-game gear caps us on crit, with our AA's, and like Savin said, we're pretty much capped for spell haste as well, so reuse speed sounds like the way to go.

Also, with the new kinda of "Recovery" called Empyrean Recovery (reuse of ALL spells), this version of reuse reduction will help us out a lot more, because it will allow our spells, and things that proc infusion BOTH come up faster. Hopefully they make more gear like that (this is the reason I am using Gassy Scepter/Muddy Orb over PG/Book of Immortals).

I found that the "Scary Talismans" set bonus is actually really nice. Only bad part is, that you have to get rid of PG, if you use that, lol...

There's 3 pieces in the set: Gassy Scepter (Chieftain Kanar), Muddy Orb (Chieftain Kanar), and Eye Poking Trophy (Snok Eyegouger). The set bonus is only 2 of the three, however, so you can pick which ones you want.

Here's what they do (minus stats, since those pretty much don't matter anymore)

Gassy Scepter: 2% hostile spell cast time reduction, 2% hostile spell reuse time.

Muddy Orb: 1% all spell reuse (Empyrean Recovery)

Eye Poking Trophy (not exact on this): 1% hostile spell reuse.

The set bonus for equipping 2: 2 spell crit, 10(?) spell damage, 3% reuse to all spells (Empyrean Recovery)
