Str vs. Sta
I was chatting with Wildsea and she mentioned that both her and Fijiram dropped the Sta line (Heal crits) for the Str line (Melee).
How many furies have gone this route and how do you like it?

Re: Str v. Sta
i tried it once for soloing, didn't like it at all, went back to heal crits, they are extremely useful in my opinion, but i also get stuck in the MT group once in a while

Re: Str v. Sta
I've been putting a lot of thought into it, but I likewise sometimes get thrown into the mt group so now wouldn't be a good time.

Re: Str v. Sta
If you're raid healing a DPS group, I doubt the STA line is going to be critical to keeping your group up. With mythicals, you can probably do decent, though certainly not earth shattering, damage in melee. 32% double attack would provide a decent boost to that. Just gotta come up with an excuse to keep Feral for the DPS mod. ;)
I would think Boon would more than compensate for the lost crit on fights that you can melee, especially with a ton of haste from Illusionist mythicals and raidwide CoB.
I'd say it's something you can get away with if it suits your playstyle, but the difference probably isn't going to be significant either way. I like the STR line for soloing (my solo build is STR/WIS/INT), but usually switch to the standard AGI/STA/INT setup when I raid on my Fury.

Re: Str v. Sta
I'd suggest taking a different approach to this debate. Lets just say stam line never existed...what benefits do you see a fury getting from taking str line?

I honestly see no benefit.
We can't turn our spells into combat arts, so the only combat arts we get are the ones from AAs, and maybe a racial one. The auto-attack benefit from str line is not really enough, unless you're in an end-game raiding guild, with Mythicals, and raid-wide spells. The only cool thing about that line, imo, is the fact that double-attacking while under the effects of animal for, counts as 2 hits, so a double-attack = twice the power gain.
Other than that, it's pretty worthless, imo.

Re: Str v. Sta
I'm still testing the str line, but tbh, if I can squeeze out some extra dps on my zonewide I'll do it. Of course, i'ts not like furies do most of their damage with melee, but autoattacks, procs and CA's are about 11% ish of my overall damage. I don't miss the heal crit, I actually don't really notice the difference. I had been thinking about it for a while but I probably wouldn't have done it right away if Fiji didn't say it worked great for him.
