Well all group beneficial spells go down before the reuse is up. So let's assume those are cast as soon as they're up.

In the rest of the time, you can either

a) Stand and do nothing. Not a good choice really.

b) Spam single target heals/cures. This might well be necessary occasionally, but if it's simply a case of overhealing to proc infusion, I'm not convinced the ~2k damage from a few cures or heals is gonna match the damage a ball lightning or sunrise does before it expires.

c) Nuke. Offensive spells really are rolling the dice. My own (pre-reactive shield change) experience suggested nuking costs more dps than it generates, since a single proc of the reactive shield basically halves your dps for 10 seconds and thus costs you about 25k damage. This might no longer be the case though.

Fury isn't my main, and I don't have time to test every cast rotation out, but I'm just not seeing what you'd do with that cast time that would generate more damage.

harvesting tool
we're not talking a normal single target infusion proc, its not .5s cast and .5s recovery (or w/e the fuck it is) , its 0.13s cast and instant recovery that isnt affected by any beneficial snares on you such as ring of rage

do the math, its higher than 2k, and in guilds with high dps, you want something that does the ring of fire /ball lightning dmg right now, not 30s later.

SoW. You'll NEVER run out of fast beneficial spells to cast.
