Discussed this with Arica the other day.. the role of a fury in raid is to:

1. blow up trash mobs while keeping a group full of chokers alive.
2. Spot heal grps with slower casting healers in em.
3. /camp mystic alt when you get to a named or avatar cause Crit AEs are a bitch.

to be honest The role of a fury is
1) Cure Cure Cure
2) Heal Heal Heal
3) DPS DPS DPS

if your really good you can do all three at the same time.

makes me sad when a DPS fury cant heal gives us good furies a Bad name =/


to be honest the thing I hate about crappie furies is when I get in a group and they ask if I need another healer. SIGH

Some nights I think all I do is cure. These damage shields that proc non stop are getting ridiculous.

They should just change our profession to Curer now. It's what we do, with healing thrown in on the side. Maybe some dps too depending on the mob.

Heaven's forbid you stop curing long enough to refresh heals or toss out some dps.

"OMG my dps sucked that fight because you weren't curing me fast enough." says the Illy that can't keep from proccing the crap as fast as you can cure it. (Who cares that there is 5 other people in the group needing cures too that are proccing the shit almost as fast as you are.)

It's like that old Simon game where you have to hit the button fast enough when it lights up so you don't lose the game. That game got old real fast too.

After 4 hours of raiding, some nights I just want to poke my eyes out so I don't have to see the cure buttons light up anymore. Run an instance after raid??? Not. I got my fill of curing while raiding. Don't need any more torture, thank you very much!!!
