ive been outa the loop for awhile, but is there a reason people only post single target parses, with avatars as an exception of course.

i just never could justify gratification on something that took such a small attention span especially when your trying to gage your current effectiveness. This thread looks to be just an orgy of temp buffs, exploits and group cherry picking.

not all of it of course, but a lot.

Well sinnerman's parse for example is all reactive damage being triggered because mobs like anashti and trak deal a small amount of damage to you throughout the fight. If you look in the templar forums they have parses of almost 30k on fights like this, maybe higher now I havn't looked in awhile. That is why it is just a single target parse. And I believe its being fixed with gu53.

Highest hit was 26k lightning bolt though i dont have it recorded currently... =\

Just the regular mage/troubador group for me.

When fighting avatars though im usually healing and or curing then dpsing (and if i werent healing/curing then i might as well be replaced with a wizard or something) and i dont see the point in posting such a parse on a thread that is about DPS, perhaps make a new thread called "Highest heal/DPS avatar or zone wide parses"

I don't see nothing wrong with temp group buffs, but getting stacked buffs all directed onto the fury for the purpose of one high encounter parse well thats cheating in my opinion
